Java Vs ASP.Net - An Extended Vision Of New Programming Era

We are going to talk about two major standard programming languages which are used vastly nowadays. There are several contract programmers who are using both of them individually but the supporters of these two programming languages continue the battle with their own vision and no clear conclusion.

Recently Java used in web applications but naturally it is solely used for software development. As a language Java can be used in multiple sectors and only for this reason nowadays Java is going to grab the software industry in a quick manner. Where as, ASP is used for developing dynamic database oriented websites and as a Microsoft product, ASP always prefers Microsoft product mostly.

Active Server Pages (ASP) is used in Internet Information Server (IIS) which runs in another Microsoft sponsored server. As a programming language it is entirely used in web applications and it provides maximum security to its users than other cheap languages.

To do the freelance programmer jobs both of this two programming languages are used satisfactorily but the main difference is just in their cost, platform independence, security, multiple usability, authenticity etc.

If you are thinking to create desktop applications you are searching for classy language then the suggestion going for the ASP (.net) direction. By using visual studio, you can accurately establish a functioning desktop application within few time periods by easily dragging components and dropping them as per your wish. By doing this process you can assemble maximum time for designing your back end and your application looks alike with several windows applications.

User Interface programming with java is not so simple like ASP, thus its takes minimum couple of weeks to happily accomplish. Now it can be easily calculated that several wee web applications is done by ASP very successfully apart using Java.

In case of software application you felt maximum hazards while using ASP programming language. Where as if you want to develop a software which is really sufficient in multiple user environment and which is accessible form different access levels (both internet and extranet) with strong database back ground then the advice goes for java programming.

In case of database compatibility, java is much flexible than ASP language. Database compatibility is really too luxurious for ASP because it only accessible by MS-SQL which is a Microsoft product, where as we can say that java is a database independent programming language.

When your thinking stuck into graphic then nowadays ASP (.net) is more effectively chosen than Java by contract programmers. The visual part of ASP is much appealing, much presentable and clear than java, thus in case of web application ASP programming is getting hype over Java. Both this two languages are safe by security point of view with their own levels, but in case of expenditure ASP (.net) is slightly reasonable than Java.

Which Antivirus Protection is the Best?

There are a lot of anti virus protections available on the market currently. The market leaders are obvious and they are MacAfee and Norton but they are not necessarily the best antivirus software out there. It really depends on what are your needs before you can decide which software is the best suited for your individual or corporate needs.

The basic feature that must be available for any antivirus software is protection against phishing, virus, spyware, malware, Trojans, adware etc. The software must be able to protect your system from the latest threats to personal computing and if you are a corporate user, you would want your company-wide system to be protected with the highest level of security. In order for this to happen, the antivirus tool must have the most comprehensive security available and it must be able to keep its screening ability updated to the latest threats. New viruses pop up everyday and an annual update may not be the most appropriate schedule for antivirus software. Annual updates will imply that you are protected against last year's viruses.

The best antivirus tool must also have a strong firewall that can keep out unnecessary probing by external servers and systems and it must be able to prevent your own applications from sending out unauthorized information or data which can compromise your system. At the same time, this firewall must not slow down your system or internet experience else the effort would not be worth it.

When you are comparing antivirus tools, take note of what are your personal online habits or what are the typical behaviors of the people in your company. This will help you determine which software tool will meet your needs. If you are not someone who downloads files or torrents online, your protection requirements may be much less and can do with a simply antivirus with an email scanner and make do with the Windows firewall but if you are a heavy user who downloads torrent files from crack sites all the time, you had better invest in an industrial grade antivirus tool.

Windows XP Registry Cleaner - Have Your Computer Running Like New Today

I remember years ago many people didn't even know what a registry was or how important it is to clean it on a regular basis. Now it's basically a must to clean your registry regularly because computers can become unstable and can eventually shut down on you if you don't. With that said let's discuss how to go about cleaning the registry. The benefit of having a clean and optimized registry is that your computer will be performing like it did when you first purchased it. Your computer will be stable and faster as well.

There are many programs which can clean your registry out quickly and efficiently. There are also some that can't do a good job of doing this. From my experience I've tried both free and paid versions of Windows XP registry cleaners and I can tell you right now. The one that I found the most useful was called Registry Fix. It's not free but it does the job nicely.

I've never had a problem with it like other software that sometimes delete the wrong registry entries. Which this can cause your computer to become very unstable. As well as most likely cause your Windows XP to stop functioning at all. So if you aren't too savvy about fooling with the registry yourself then it's best you use software that can do this for you.

With this Windows XP registry cleaner it has a very newbie friendly user interface. So it won't be very complicated to use. If you can click a mouse and read then you can use this software without worries of messing up your computer.

Internet Addiction and Children-Hidden Dangers and 15 Warning Signs

Timothy was twelve when his parents bought him a computer for his room, thinking it would be helpful to him with his homework, as he was entering junior high. Timothy took to the Internet immediately and soon discovered chat rooms and email. At first, Timothy's parents watched over his shoulder frequently to make sure he was using the Internet safely. After a little while though, they stopped monitoring his online habits. Soon problems arose, however. Timothy began to spend all of his free time in his bedroom, and was moody when asked to spend time with his family. His average grade dropped from an A to a D and he became irritable and angry when he was away from his computer. Timothy is a high risk for Internet addiction.

Computers have long been used by both children and adults as reliable sources of information. Over 20% of children now have computers in their own rooms and through the Internet have access to an unlimited supply of information and interaction. However, the risks of addiction are very great among children who are exposed to the Internet without strong parental guidelines.

Excessive Internet use in children can lead to health problems like obesity, headaches and general ill health due to lack of physical activity. Children may become socially maladjusted and less able to communicate well with friends and family. Pedophiles can and do target children online. There is a high risk that children who use the Internet excessively will be exposed to inappropriate sexual content as well as scams. Excessive game play and use of online services can also result in children spending money without their parents' knowledge. Finally, a majority of popular online games depict excessive use of violence. Viewing trivialized violence in a virtual world, like television or the Internet has been linked to marked increases in behavioral violence among young viewers.

So, what are the warning signs of Internet addiction? Psychological and media experts have compiled a list of warning signs for Internet addiction:

1. The Internet is frequently used as a means of escaping from problems or relieving a depressed mood.

2. Your child often loses track of time while online.

3. Sleep is sacrificed for the opportunity to spend more time online.

4. Your child prefers to spend more time online than with friends or family.

5. He/She lies to family member and friends about the amount of time or nature of surfing being done on the Internet.

6. Your child becomes irritable if not allowed to access the Internet.

7. He/She has lost interest in activities they once found enjoyable before getting online access.

8. Your child forms new relationships with people they have met online.

9. They check their email several times per day.

10. He/She has jeopardized relationships, achievements, or educational opportunities because of the Internet.

11. Your child disobeys the time limits that have been set for Internet usage.

12. They eat in front of the computer frequently.

13. Your child develops withdrawal symptoms including: anxiety, restlessness, or trembling hands after not using the Internet for a lengthy period of time.

14.Your child is preoccupied with getting back online when away from the computer.

15. They have trouble distinguishing between the virtual world and the real world.

It is very important that parents identify Internet addiction in their children at an early age and set limits on their Internet use. My next article will provide a no nonsense contract that parents can use with their children to set limits and boundaries on Internet use.

Adware, Spyware and You

Recent studies show that adware spyware programs have infected over 95% of all computers connected to the Internet. This sounds like a scene taken out of a movie, but this time it is not Hollywood but real life. It is indeed an astounding fact if we consider that this equates to millions of computers worldwide that are all infested. Without any scruples, these programs are using large amounts of information that they pirated from ordinary computers.

Very new users to the Internet understand the term adware spyware as a technical term for spying software. This is not far from the truth as these programs are designed to gather information about the innocent user and his activities, to be sent back to their original designer. They can record almost everything you do on your computer, including keystrokes on your keyboard; websites you visit, and email you send and receive. Sometimes, they even steal your banking records that you believe are completely secure.

Privacy rights are not going to stop these intrusions. Wherever information is present in one form or another, adware spyware will be there to find it. Every day, new software is sent out by advertisers, designed to reach out for your precious information, with hundreds of programs in the wild.

The advertising world is snooping in carefully on your Internet activities, to find out exactly how to create their products so you become the perfect target for their ads. You may think that pop-ups and ads are not that dangerous, but in fact, the real issue is the information gathered through illegal means.

Every day users will never find out just what information the spyware adware programs have managed to get from them, and how that threatens their personal identity.

The right for personal privacy is completely ignored, as your secrets are not safe. Some may even go to great lengths to decrypt your passwords.

Effective defense against adware spyware can be accomplished by using spyware removers. The spyware remover products are designed to detect adware spyware residing on your computer and completely erase it. You can easily obtain and install your very own seek-and-destroy agents, which will keep you protected from any future adware spyware invasions.

In the physical world, we usually protect our homes and property by installing locks and security systems, this being the equivalent of the spyware remover programs in the computer world. Just as their real life counterparts, spyware remover software will shield you from unwanted adware attacks, keeping you and your computer information completely secure. You can safely browse the internet, shop online, pay your bills, and manage your bank account online and the spyware remover programs will protect the privacy of your identity and that of the persons you love and care for.

Antivirus 2009 Devious Spyware

Antivirus 2009, the name might lead you to think that the software will protect you from malicious spyware and malware, but in fact it does exactly the opposite. Antivirus 2009 is actually the latest in a series of particularly devious pieces of software that designed to make you think that your computer is infected. You may have visited some websites which display a pop-up telling you that your computer is infected with spyware and that by downloading the antivirus software that the spyware will be removed. If you did click on the pop up you will have been taken to a website that shows that your computer is riddled with unpleasant Trojans, spyware and assorted viruses. However, this is a hoax, and is simply a cleverly designed way to encourage you to download the anti-virus 2009 software. Once installed, the antivirus 2009 software kicks in and proceeds to infect your computer with even more spyware key loggers and other nasties. Once infected, it can prove quite difficult to remove.

Antivirus 2009 is only one of many such spyware programs that are now circulating the Internet. Therefore, it has never been more important that you are adequately protected against these increasingly clever pieces of software. If, like most people, you order goods, or pay for items online, then you should be especially careful, to ensure that your personal details and credit card details are kept secure. For this reason I recommend that you get a recognised an anti-spyware and anti virus program. Although it is possible to get free anti-spyware software, I would definitely recommend that you spend money to get it properly developed package. There are many very capable antispyware packages available and the better ones have advanced features such as real-time monitoring, protection against false positives, and regular updates to the database.

How Does Antivirus Software Work?

If you want to make sure that you're protected from viruses, you should get some antivirus software. This software can offer peace of mind, even for experienced computer users who would be unlikely to open a simple virus.

Antivirus software works in two ways. Firstly, it has a big 'dictionary' of viruses, allowing it to scan files and flag any that are known to be viral. Secondly, the software monitors the system for any suspicious activity. One method involves creating decoy files that are hidden from the user and monitoring them to see if they are altered - if they are, then it was almost certainly a virus.

The two giants of the antivirus industry are McAfee and Norton. They are both commercial software based on yearly subscriptions, and at this point there's little to choose between them - some people swear by one, but just as many will swear by the other. However, both are quite expensive, especially if you buy them as part of the complete security suite.

If you want a free antivirus program, the best around is widely considered to be AVG (the Free Edition). It's a small but effective antivirus application, popular firstly for being free and secondly for using hardly any system resources to run. AVG is capable of running very fast, even on older computers.

For people who don't actually want to download and install antivirus software, but just want to quickly make sure that they don't have a virus, TrendMicro's HouseCall website is a good solution (you can find it at housecall.trendmicro.com). When you go to the website and click 'Scan Now', it will scan your computer for viruses right then and there, without you needing to install anything - and best of all, it's free. While it is a very good service, however, you shouldn't rely on it completely, as it is a bad idea to use a computer with no installed antivirus protection.

Remove Spyware Free

Is it really possible to remove spyware free? After testing and reviewing many anti virus software programs I found that most of them that you download will require you to make a small payment which allows you unlimited access. It is very rare that you find a tool that can remove spyware free because most software companies are aware of the high risk it poses to internet surfers and has therefore become a very profitable niche. To put all of this aside lets talk about the dangers of spyware infections and what can be done to safely protect your pc. Be sure to check out the end of the article for my top rated spyware removal tool.

The reason why spyware is so dangerous is because it installs itself onto your windows system without your awareness, is designed to steal personal information about your pc and can manipulate and change security settings. The last thing you would want is for your online banking or credit card details to be stolen and transferred to a foreign user who will use this information. Other information includes email addresses and details on the websites you surf. It can also lower internet explorer security settings which will consequently allow infectious files to install while you surf the internet and you won't even know. Some common symptoms of spyware infections include change of default startup homepage, browser redirects, slow pc performances, pop ups and unknown toolbars.

You need to ensure that you constantly scan your computer in order to keep it safe from infectious files as failure to do so will result in total system failure. Xoftspyse is my personal recommendation as the top anti spyware tool available on the market. It will safely quarantine and remove any infections with the simple click of a button and will ensure your pc is kept safe.
